If a strong player attacks a much weaker player, the defending troops of the weaker player will gain a morale bonus. This bonus will not ensure victory for the weaker player, but it will ensure that a stronger player prefers stronger targets.[]
The morale bonus will be granted against any attack type: Assault, Siege, Plunder and Spy/Scout.
The morale bonus will be applied to all troops of the defending player (including his own support).
The morale bonus will not apply to troops of other players defending the city.
The morale bonus will start to matter if the attacking player has 4 times the score of the defender.
The morale bonus will be 100 if the attacking player has 10 times the score of the defender.
The morale bonus will be +200 if the attacking player has 20 times the score of the defender.
The morale bonus will be 300% if the attacking player has 40+ times the score of the defender.
The morale bonus progression between those examples will be linear.
